Ajit Pawar's relief to Punavlekar? Promised to solve the garbage depot.

Pune : The views and opinions of the delegation of local citizens regarding the proposed waste depot at Hinjewadi - Punavale have been sought. Punavalekar has got some relief as Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar assured that he will solve the garbage depot only after knowing the role of the municipal administration.
Local citizens have taken up a campaign called Me Punavalekar against the proposed garbage depot at Punavale. He met the Deputy Chief Minister Pawar and gave a statement representing the citizens. A large number of Punavale villagers and society representatives were present on this occasion.
According to the Municipal Development Plan, there is a reservation of garbage depot in the open space in Punawale. But, many big housing projects have been built around at present. Due to the influx of citizens from all corners of the country, the population has increased enormously, so the citizens are strongly opposed to the depot.
For the past few days, administrative activities are going on regarding the opening of waste depot in Punawale. Therefore, around 30 thousand citizens of this area are worried. Builders have completed building projects. The question has been raised as to whom the citizens should appeal to. As the depot will come up adjacent to the Hinjewadi IT hub, there is a sense of displeasure among the IT and highly educated people towards the administration and public representatives.
